1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to access and use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement and are not barred from using the Service under applicable laws.

2. Service Description

Thyself is a content platform that aggregates publicly available third-party content and delivers personalized reading recommendations through a finite daily interface. The Service may include features for content discovery, reading history, interest modeling, and content organization, as made available by the Operator from time to time.

Note: The Operator reserves the right to modify, restrict, or discontinue any feature at its sole discretion without prior notice.

3. Intellectual Property & Future Assignment

• Proprietary Rights: All rights to the Service’s interface, interaction logic, proprietary algorithms, and data visualizations are owned by the Operator.
• User Contributions: You retain rights to your Captions and manual Trend adjustments. You grant the Operator a license to use this data solely to provide and improve the Service.
• Successors and Assigns: You explicitly acknowledge and agree that the Operator may assign, transfer, or delegate these Terms and all associated user data, intellectual property, and service obligations to a corporate entity upon its formation or acquisition of the Service, without requiring further consent from you.

4. Web Scraping & Third-Party Content

The Service functions as a content aggregator using automated crawlers to index publicly available information.

• No Ownership: The Operator does not claim ownership of third-party content. All rights remain with the original publishers.
• “As Is” Aggregation: We do not guarantee the accuracy or legality of scraped content. Metadata is generated automatically and may contain errors.

5. Algorithmic & AI Disclaimer

The Service uses proprietary algorithms to generate personalized content recommendations. By using these features, you acknowledge:

• Inaccuracies: Algorithmic outputs may contain errors, biases, or misinterpretations. Recommendations are not guaranteed to reflect your preferences accurately.
• No Advice: Personalized features are for informational purposes only. The Service is not a medical, psychological, or professional advisory tool.
• No Guarantee of Results: The Operator does not warrant that the Service will meet your expectations or produce any particular outcome.

6. Service Availability & Liability

• Interruptions: The Service may experience downtime or data loss. We do not guarantee continuous or error-free availability.
• Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to use the Service during the preceding twelve months.

7. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. You and the Operator agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania.
